Yes, I've watched the film, read the articles, and listened to all the hype. I just can't seem to be realistic about this guy. I keep having to tell myself that he is only a true freshman and, with that said, it is going to take some time for him to get in the groove. It's still so hard not to be so jacked up about this guy.

He's going to be a top 10 LSU RB at worst. You're ok.

He will start getting real mins against Miss St. Until then he will be a pass blocker if that. I know he is special, But Miles won't do that with a true freshman.

You will see soon enough. Football players like him don't come around quite often. He is a once in a generation type player.

He has never played a down. It's all hype for now. Don't make him out to be another Chad Jones or Brad Wing who were so overhyped people ignored what they actually did on the field b

Easy. He was at St Aug for four years and they didn't come close to winning a state championship - a HIGH SCHOOL state championship. He's not the answer. He's only a piece of an answer.

I like the poster's idea of letting Magee and Hilliard beat em up for three quarters and then inserting a jacked-up LF in the fourth and let him run fricking crazy.

He'll play and dominate from day one. Depends on just how many carries Miles gives him. Remember, Hill beat out 5 people with a year's layoff from football. He got 142 carries behind a patchwork oline with three young players. I'd say Fournette sees around 150-160.

You can't baby talent. We thought we could in 2012 then we realized we couldn't run for shite. Play your best players, if they prove to be your best players.

He's gonna be great, but he's going to be 3rd in line this year. It's the deepest position on the team

LF will be very good. The only thing that scares me about him is that he matured very early for his age just as Anthony Johnson did in the sense that he is closer than reaching his ceiling and more "tapped out" than the rest of his competition. That being said, he is more talented than AJ was at the same age and will at the very worst be a very good running back.
