I love Uber...the cab situation in BTR is a joke...go to the airport and look at the cab options...pitiful and embarrassing for our city!

Sprawl + DWI Checkpoint Shakedowns = MASSIVE DEMAND for ride sharing.
The fact that people would rather drive in this town and gamble with getting pulled over, rather than have any rational taxi options is telling. Yellow Cab pretty much rolled the red carpet out to Uber here.
