Fwiw, Zelalem just tweeted a picture of the USA flag. I hope that is a good thing for us.

TFTC just posted something in the LFC thread about us signing some American kid from Arizona. 18 year old winger. I know nothing about it, but figured I'd give you guys a heads up.

Damn. I don't understand how you can be in America as long as that kid and still not get your citizenship.

Its baffling. Cant blame the kid, itd be a long arse wait.

Maybe his family didn't have the money, it can be expensive to get it. It cost 680 bucks just to file an application to start the process and can cost more if you get an immigration lawyer. You also have to have your green card for five years before beginning the process, Diego didn't get his till 2013.

He is 19 or 20 and just got his green card. I wonder why there was such a delay. He has basically lived here his whole life.

Probably only got it because New England pushed him to, that way he would no longer take up an international player spot.

I'm seeing rumors that U-18 player, Pablo Paleaz, will sign with a German club soon.
Also, Joe Gyau will need another knee surgery. Most likely done for the season.

quote:Just saw this. As a pool fan and American, I really hope it works out for him. He was getting a lot of praise before his injury.
BR: "When I first came in I was really impressed with Pelosi. He's had a bad injury. He's a gifted young player, w/ an excellent left foot"
