For LSU it's got to be new o line coach Jeff Grimes. Coach stud was a depreciating asset and it was time for a change. Grimes has the experience and successful background to bring an immediate impact to our front line.

Kiffin, without a doubt.

For clarification to the down voter, biggest impact is not necessarily defined as positive. Kiffin's impact could be huge success or huge bust.

Terry Joseph. (Defensive Backs)

He's also the ONLY new coach on the roster.

The turnover on the defensive staff will help a lot.

Pruitt won't have a stellar elite defense this year, but we will be getting off the field more on 3rd downs I feel. Our PPG avg will go down a good bit I feel. Honestly anyone other than Grantham could have this defense at a decent middle of the road level.

Grimes is a good guy but average OL coach. Great recruiter though and hope he does well at LSU due to quality of person

For Auburn, we still have all our coaches

Overall, Robb Smith, DC from Tampa Bay/Rutgers, but a big impact also from Clay Jennings, DB's, hired away from TCU.

Our staff is fairly stable ... no new coaches this year, very little turnover under Spurrier. We like it that way. Seems to be paying off so far.

First off, let me say that Jeff Grimes might be one of the finest human beings walking God's green earth. Absolutely amazing human being and LSU is lucky to have him.

That being said, he tends to be a little unorthodox as an OL coach in that he doesn't preach technique. He prefers that the players work however they want to as long as the job gets done, whereas some OL coaches want the players to use certain technique all of the time. This can cause some sloppyness from time to time. That was my only gripe with Grimes.
