Spoiler question: Actor dies in IRL (Glee, Silicon Valley, Spartacus SPOILERS)

I need a ruling on a spoiler scenario. If I am wrong then I will yield and admit defeat.
Scenario: Poster asks for opinions on show. Someone posts that they quit watching after character dies. The character is killed off due to the actor dying in real life. Everyone that was not living in a cave last year would know about this death. The post is abundantly clear that this is the case.
Nothing in the post indicates manner of death or any details about the episode.
Is this a clear violation of the spoiler rules, or an obvious statement of a well known fact?
ETA: Assume that this show is about a guy that drinks single malt scotch, has sex with OT 10s, and has never watched an episode of Glee.

Pretty sure this is about Glee
ETA: And I would not consider that a spoiler. How anyone could not know that guy died last year is beyond me.

This is about Glee doc. Not that GOT nerd shite.

Depends on the actor I would think. For example I has no idea the guy on Silicon Valley died before it was revealed in the show thread. Obviously many new Ledger died before TDK.

This is about grown men discussing Glee spoilers. Not my proudest moment, but we are society of rules. This needs an answer.

I can't believe you just spoiled that show! (I think I know which one you're talking about)
If they didn't know one of the main characters died in real life, then they weren't really of the show to begin with. I don't think it's a spoiler at all. If you posted how they killed the person in the show, then that would be a spoiler.

Easy.
Tell that poster to never watch glee. At all.

I'm gonna pretend this is about Spartacus instead of Glee. Yeah, that's better.

Seems like they're going to go with mentioning his character without showing him on the screen, so the character isn't dead

Spartacus was the first thing taht jumped into my mind.
I just caught the Glee thread, and it seems like it's a spoiler IMO. I agree that it's at least fairly common knowledge that the kid died IRL, but the OP specifically asked for no spoilers past season one, and something later on (that is likely pretty big to the show) was mentioned.
I don't see how that can be seen as anything other than a spoiler.
Also, just because some "famous" actor dies doesn't mean people automatically connect him to a show they are watching a year(s) later.

i'll actually give a serious answer
i would say it's a violation, because there is a chance the possible spoilee doesn't watch the news and keep up with who or who didn't die.
I don't watch glee and I sure AF didn't know someone on the show died IRL.
Just my opinion.
