....or an "oops baby" for that matter.
Never did get that.

why not? why do people have to be married to get congratulated?

I've seen trashy frickers throw baby showers for knocked up high school chicks
It's like they're proud of being dumb

I have two kids, same woman, never married. I took each and every congratulations I received for both of my sons to heart

I think children outside of wedlock are more the norm these days
Posted on 6/24/14 at 12:08 pm to JS87
The value of the child isn't diminished just because he/she was born out of wedlock.

don't be that guy.
You say congrats because you are happy that they had a kid.
I'm old fashioned in that I want to be married before I have a kid, but I'm not going to knock others for not waiting.
No one will call them a "bastard" to their(parent's) face, only behind a computer or their back anyway.

Both of my children were born out of wedlock and were surprises. I love them as much as any man can love a child. It doesn't matter when their mother and I were married in my opinion.

Is it only 40 percent of a baby if the parents aren't married or something?
Posted on 6/24/14 at 12:09 pm to JS87
because having a child is the main purpose for life and accomplishing that is worth celebrating, regardless of marital status.

What are they supposed to say? Just because it was an accident doesn't mean it isn't a proud moment.

My wife's Aunt isn't even 40 and she's a about to be a grandmother of 3.
Her trashy 19 year older daughter has number two on the way and her 17 year old is due in December. She's throwing some shower and I already told her we're not attending that shite.

I was an "oops" baby but was born in wedlock. Mom had an IUD.

Well my son was born out of wedlock, happened to be a "surprise", and during high school.. but if you want to look down on my son for being so thats on you. But every congratulations was deserved and so was his mother's baby shower..
frick you if you have a problem with it.

I don't say it. Children who don't come from a stable traditional family model are generally frick ups.
