The establishment Rs hate the tea party as much as the progs. I'm willing to bet both Rs in Congress and libs in Congress wanted those groups attacked.

Thats why you wont see any follow up with the backup company, and the emails are just "gone"

I have been saying this for months

Mark Levin has made a good point - The Establishment R's probably played a role in this too. They view the tea party as just as big of an enemy as the democrats do, so the ends justify the means in regards to attacking the tea party here.

Well, Cpt., that's a downer; I hope you're wrong. But I do think that your assessment applies, by degree, in different individuals in the Republican Party. The old dogs...for sure.

Book it. There WILL BE radical change in the near future. The issue is what SCENARIO is the impetus for that change; it could be a Cloward-Piven engineered collapse by the Dems enabled by the complicit and greedy Republicans - or Islam taking the ME oil and nukes and screwing it up for all of us.

Number don't lie. Survival of the unfit (morally or practically) won't cut it either.

This is a scandal of monumental proportions. Its Obama's legacy. His arrogant assurance that not a smidgen of corruption will be discovered, coupled with a highly suspicious computer crash that nullified any chance of discovery, cries out for an unbiased investigation.

The media should be demanding that obama, himself, call for an independent investigation into the matter. Its that vital an issue to the Republic.

And this is what their misguided actions will lead to...

More than a year ago, on June 19, 2013, I responded to this:

"Soon Benghazi will be a distant memory and IRS will die by the beginning of fall."

...with this:

"Both of these investigations will continue well into 2014."

I didn't have much company back then, if any at all.

Today is June 23, 2014. The IRS investigation ("dead") hearings continue this evening and tomorrow morning, and the Select House Committee on Benghazi ("a distant memory") has not yet begun its hearings.

Let it play out ...

Targeting "the" tea party, noting there IS NO party called the tea party, it's simply a loose association of grass roots orgs, among other "conservative groups" probably won't raise much ire in many "R's" and probably no "D's" at all, since we can see these people are absolutely bereft of any honor, dignity or moral sense of duty. We now have a govt of harlot whores all for sale to the highest bidder, which won't be the tea party.

Obama will not be censured, impeached, etc. because of the color of his skin.

After he leaves office he will be elevated to the level of MLK, Jr. Book it.

Could be if the Reps don't follow it up this could add more fuel for the tea party.

Eventually, something is going to break out into the public eye with very damaging evidence against this President...too many scandals around his Presidency.

When you consider what Nixon was forced to resign over compared to the implications just in the IRS scandal... Goodness gracious!

I am so mad at the Republican party for just being a complete train wreck.. they have no identity.

Nixon and his boys were punks compared to this and recent administrations.
