Does anyone have any recommendations on how much time to set aside a week on average? Time management will be key for me as I have a full time job and will be doing some side work as well for a second company. I will be taking one class at a time. I saw something on RateMyProfessor where someone said they needed 30 hours a week for a single class? but then some make it seem like this is a breeze through program. Starting Summer AP2 in FIN 701 with Kim Sung

There's no average. However, here's a Google Sheet updated by people on this list that contains estimates for each class/professor: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oJN52sM55sb21yfWDoIQNYPjb0FwWI3IOFX6GfnuSrc/edit#gid=547681192
Pick wisely and it's not too bad. Pick poorly and you'll regret it for that session.
And since you have a real job plus a side gig, I would not recommend doubling up on any classes.

Thank you! That's some detailed info!

Just finished my MBA. Bout 15 hrs per course.

I just paired with a 40 hr + work week, had ZERO life. I took Sung, would say he's the best of the Finance professors. His materials are straight forward and relevant with no busy work.

took Heller for MADM 760... missed the first exam and had a nitpicky teaching assistant who graded my papers pretty harshly.... still got an A

This is to be expected on the quarter system. I would say that class has an average workload.

Anyone taken Fabio Ambrosio’s Acct720 taxation class? How was it compared to his 701 class?

I paired 760 and 701 Acct. On a 40 hr clinic schedule with 10 hrs or so of labor pool, it was a nightmare, given my workload was top heavy, and my study week started around Wednesday. As the other poster said, pick wisely if you are doing over-time every week during the AP.

Who did you take for Acct 701? How was it if you had more time to focus on it and would you recommend your professor? I believe I am scheduled with Huang for Acct 701 in December

Hey guys, I was wondering for those of you who took James Gibbs for ISDS 705 are the review questions sufficient enough to pass his quizzes, or should I dwell deeper into the text?
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

Take Fabio Ambrosio for Acct 701. Based on past comments, I'm guessing he would pair well with Vines Fin 701. I think Vines is a hit or miss with students b/c of his personal notes but he only has 4 exams.

Thanks, I'll look into Ambrosio. Currently im with Sung in FIN 701 but he seems pretty straight forward

Can confirm that Sung is straight forward. Easy class if you have a statistics or math background.

this first week of ISDS702 with Koksal has been the easiest, lightest week of any class Ive taken so far. If remaining weeks are like this its definitely a class you can double up on.

EDIT this is regarding the question on Gibbs isds705
the chapter review questions will not cover everything on the Quizzes and in fact there will be 1-2 very specific questions that can only be found within the chapter readings. But all the other classwork is easy 100% As to pad your grade up. I read the entire chapters for the first 1-2 weeks and then I studied only the chapter review, chapter summary, and glossary words.

Yes, Sung is straight forward, primarily HP Fin Calculator based.

Did anyone get part of their fees returned? I thought I remembered an email saying we would, but I didn’t.
