Finished Choi with an A. All 100s on papers 95, 75, 55 on the 3 tests.
He must have changed the weighting, because these test grades would result in a B now.

Hi all - new to the forum. Just finishing up my first course of the program, MADM715 (Phillips). For Fall AP2, I'm taking MADM701 (Heller), but thinking of adding a 2nd course as I have a lot of PTO at work, so an extra day off each week the rest of the year. Would you recommend pairing MADM701 with either ECON705 (Shaugnessy) or ISDS705 (Lin)?

I took MADM 701 with Heller, and it was an easy class: no final, no project, just weekly quizzes and writing. If you want to take an additional course, I would recommend ECON 705 with Shaugnessy. He is the best teacher I ever had in LSUS. Just be prepared to do a lot of Excel with graphs.

Are all the classes this easy?
Some are, but not all. FIN 701 with Vines another fairly easy course. Just use his study guides and participate in the Zoom sessions and you should be fine. Same with MADM 701 with Meeks. It's busy work, but no reason you shouldn't get an A. Seems a lot has changed since I finished the program over a year ago.

Anyone ever take MADM 751? Did you find it useful? I did not find 760 useful, but 751 looks interesting.

Anyone take MADM 760 with Samuel Wyatt? He just posted the syllabus and I was wondering if you can give some insight on his weekly exams?

Like any of the classes, you get out of it what you want. I was required to take it due to my track (Entrepreneurship). I enjoyed it for the most part. I am not a fan of group work, but I was assigned to a great team and we cleared the class with an A. Pretty easy class - assignments and project.

Can you email me about this class? I’m signed up for it in AP2 and have additional questions.

What is it? I had a link that took me to an idiotic diversity questionnaire. Then there was a link in the Resources folder that had 3 questions about ProcturU which i answered very honestly. Was there anything else you guys found?

I took 3 today, and they were all similar to tests, but shorter.

ProctorU: Made me show them all my medical paperwork next to my desk despite being open book, took control of my mouse and opened up pinned tabs that weren't open, went thru my folder, asked me to show where my phone was and then asked me to prove where it was, reviewed everything on my desk, reviewed everything on my computer. Every time I have to take a test it's the worst day of the week. Don't choose this school." END QUOTE
This is HIGHLY inaccurate and in no way a representation of my experience with ProctorU.
This is likely a bot post or some shite. ProctorU is fine.

I hope I’m not missing something. FIN 720 had a link to a questionnaire about working in diverse work groups. I answered everything “no opinion” because we didn’t have any group work.

Cottonseed, with all due respect to you, this may not be YOUR experience with ProctorU, but it is very similar to what many have experienced. Personally, they asked me to remove a 2nd monitor from my desk. I explained that it was semi-permanent and that the cables were all tied together. They didn't budge until I asked for a supervisor. They can clearly see that I do not have a second monitor hooked up to the computer.
There are many things that they could do to make it an easier experience. I always use the survey that they provide at the end of the tests to document what could have been better so at least they are getting some feedback.

I had some bad experiences. I have a friend at LSUA who says they're now pulling credit reports and asking questions from it to validate who you are. If that's true (and it is because he has no reason to lie) LSUS needs to reevaluate this company in my opinion.
Posted on 10/21/19 at 11:34 am to PresJohnTyler
They can’t pull credit reports without consent.
People should be more concerned with the integrity of their degree than the few minor inconveniences from proctoru.

They aren't credit reports...it's public data aggregated usually from a company such as LexusNexus.

I have had all good experiences using ProctorU aside from one scheduling hiccup I once experienced late on a Sunday night. I now avoid late night Sunday exams, make sure my desk is clear, and have never had an issue. The proctors have always been extremely friendly to me.
For mandatory accreditation day- I had to go into each of my classes for a Module 8. Mine were 5 question exams that weren’t proctored so I think the school wants us to do a good job as well (cough open note).

Does anyone know when they send Beta Gamma Sigma invites out? How much of the program needs to be completed before they do, and what's the estimated GPA requirement?
