If you make 2- C(letter grades), are you kicked out of the program? If yes, how do you redeem yourself?

Is anyone else scheduled to take MADM 701 with Williams in AP1? For those that have had her for this course, what should we all expect? She does not even have the book ready for the course!

GS I will be in MADM 701 with you for AP1, and benny I will also be in MKT 701 also. I am a bit disappointed it doesn't seem like we will be able to get a jump start on either of these classes. I already know it will most likely be seven weeks from hell.

Probation means you have 12 hours (4 classes) to bring up overall GPA to 3.0 or higher. Hope this helps.

Hey Wolfpack714 did you guys use both the Managing Business Processes book and the Simquick process simulation with excel books for ISDS 702? I see you posted a link for a book used in his class just wondering if your class used both as well.

I appreciate it. I'm in no rush, per say, and have business degree(finance). It's nice that they give you credit...some "lock step" programs won't. JP

There is just a lot of reading. There were four tests based on what was read in the chapter so I would say it could be doubled it you retain the knowledge easily.

Is anybody going for International Business in Asia Pacific ?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Louisiana State University Shreveport is offering a unique Winter Break study abroad program called “International Business in Asia Pacific” December 10-21.
The program is intended for students wishing to gain a deeper understanding of international business in the Asia Pacific and the management issues confronting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and multi-national enterprises (MNEs) in the Asia Pacific Region. The program provides practical guidance on how to develop and sustain a competitive advantage in the Asia Pacific Region, the rise of ASEAN, and the challenges and opportunities for trade growth and collaboration with this fast growing and dynamic region. This subject aims to expand knowledge of contemporary international business issues within the Asia Pacific Region. Competition in international markets is becoming increasingly complex - for this reason, International Business is a subject, which is both demanding and requires considerable personal effort. Students will find the subject challenging and stimulating as well as rewarding. Not only will this subject test the student’s analytical ability and creative thinking but also the ability to present ideas persuasively and to work cooperatively in group situations.
If I can get my work, my wife, and my kids to give me 12 extra days off and throw in $2,600 I may do it.
Hi everyone,
Does anyone know how Proctorio works? This is my first time having a class that require these services, and I am not quite sure on how this works. I downloaded the extension, but do I have to call in and schedule a time? Or does it automatically starts when I open an exam? This is for MADM 701.
Thank you!
Its going to depend on how she has it set up, I have had to use both methods previously: Method 1: You have to schedule a time a couple days in advance and log in and someone watches you through your webcam as you take the test. This option sucked because you had to work around their time slots. Method 2: You logged in whenever to take the test and they would record you while you would take the test and then have someone go back and watch the recording to check the validity. This was easier because you could test whenever, but the only downfall to this one was at any point during the test they could freeze your screen and ask you to show them the room and your time for the test would continue to count down.
well I thought I had the book MBAStudent, but I guess she is using some 3rd party service. Can't even see how much it is going to cost! Not feeling this professor thus far tbh.
Jkdaven,
we used both books if you are taking Dr. Hayati. Didn't really use the sim quick book much. Tests are pretty straight forward and mirror his practice exams.
Wolfpack714,
Yeah I am not feeling her to well either. It's nerve wrecking that she won't release anything early. Getting an early start is how I make time for my other classes.
