Advice on bass fishing in a shallow pond

My pond is full of bass.
It is only ~ 5 feet deep, but the problem is that, what I call aquarium grass is every where and floats about 1 to 2 feet deep.
Floating frog lures won't work and I don't have any top water lures.
The bass love finger mullet. My plan is to use a finger mullet lure with a cork set about 1.5 feet down.
Is this even worth a try?
TIA

With this heat give them a few weeks and they will naturally float to the top looking for oxygen.

Weedless worm or lizard with no weight so it stays on top of the grass.

Weightless Texas rigged. If there are a lot of weeds go weedless. If that doesn't work, grab a bucket of nightcrawlers or minnows and go to town.

Ask NASCAR his pond cant be much deeper than that.

The weedless worm is a good idea.
My most successful color is purple with pink tail.
I'll give that a try.
My weedless frog just doesn't work there. Freakin frustration incorporated.

I always keep one tied on and close, river, lake or pond.

yeah it does, weeds, grass, laydowns, if a bass is there, they cant stand it.
