Ive known a few guys who not only chew and dip but instead of spitting, swallow. And also do it while eating and drinking and swallow that shite.
Told them it was nice knowing them

i believe greystone punched their greens today, which is perfect considering i'm playing at santa maria all weekend
hopefully they'll be pretty much back to perfect in 2 weeks which is the earliest i'll likely play back there

Anybody tried the new Golf Pride Tour Velvets?

What's the difference? It's what I play with on all my clubs sans-putter and new wedges.

Reminds me I want to put some new grips on my wedges
I have the grips, just need to remember to do it

I think two weeks is about right. Bama should have some input on this.

Two weeks seems right to me. All about the weather. Sunny hot days with some spot showers and irrigation, 2 weeks should be right about perfect.

They typically use the 1/4" spikes instead of the 1/2
I played them within a week the last time they punched, and they rolled very well, even that soon
They have been pretty much perfect the last 2-3 months

I woke up one day about 25 years ago and said screw it I don't need this shite and threw the skoal in the trash. Never dipped since but it was tough for a while.

Congrats.
How'd you get by? Nicorette? I've thought about getting the gum next time I try to attempt to quit. I almost had it beat the last time tried and crumbled when I got stressed out when my dad had a heart attack about 7 years ago.

I don't think nicorette was around then, just pure will power.....that's what made it really tough.

I may have to cut back on the cigars

both are spin monsters. I could not make either head work for me. My spin numbers were crazy high

what kind of glove does everyone prefer?
i usually buy FJ or nike, whatever is on sale at academy and never put much thought into it
i need to buy a spare or two before the weekend, and just wanted some added input
also, i may be the only one, but i always remove my glove before any wedge shot or putt, except for full wedge shots
for a 50 yard pitch, i feel like i have more feel with no glove on, but maybe its in my head and just become a habit

At my recent trip to PGA superstore I found the best driver for me personally as far as spin was the Tour Edge Exotics XCG7. Hit 20 balls, 2000-2200, averaged 273.3 carry, 298.1 total.

FJ rain gloves. Thinner and different texture than normal gloves.

I need a low spin driver/shaft combo. S flex probably. Go!
