No other city has fans that will jump off a bandwagon faster. The Miami Hurricanes won some football national titles and as soon as they slipped just a little fans abandoned the team. Now you can't get anyone to a game. The Florida Marlins won 2 World Series and still couldn't put anyone in the stands in the years following. The Miami Dolphins are a decrepit has been franchise that hasn't been relevant in a generation. Finally, after a disappointing end to the season Heat "fans" are ready to put their Heat tank tops and flat bill Heat caps away. From the booing of their own team during Game 4 to the lack of consistent fan support in all sports, they epitomize the bandwagon fan. Thoughts?

Getting booed in the last game at your home court has to really suck.

Sounds like something they should give a lot of thought to while they're relaxing on the beach.

Miami Vice was one of my favorite TV shows as a youngster.

but the show ended eventually.

Dexter was a good show for a little awhile as well.

Marino never had a running game to help balance the Dolphins offense when he played.

I know this isn't the answer that you were looking for.

but even I don't know when I'm serious or not.

It seems like most of the city is made up of transplants from the northeast and immigrants, it's not surprising the local teams aren't supported well

I remember when Miami upset UCLA in the late 90's at the Orange Bowl.

Good crowd or not?

okay bad example... maybe it wasn't a sellout but how many games are now???

Serious question.

how about when they were bad arse in 2001?

just seems like attendance isn't breaking records these days.

don't get why some schools pour money into expanding the stadiums if they couldn't sell out games before.

just look at bowl attendances for Christ sake!

what the in the hell is going on?
