PErsonally, I don't have a problem with what he did in 2010, well other than the whole decision fiasco with ESPN.

I would've loved it if he came to the Bulls though

Not a troll thread

3 of the 10 best players in the league at the time join forces, talk of 8 titles...it's a pretty fair question

When they start handing out half trophies or sort-of-titles, this becomes relevant.

The only expectation was getting rings and more than 2 by their own standard.

I don't think you would either which makes your original question kind of pointless.

But if just wanted an e-shoulder to cry on and get confirmation that LeBron may have embellished the expectation of getting 8+ consecutive titles, consider it given.

I wasn't calling the thrad a troll thread. It isn't a completely irrelevant question.

True, but at the same time, you gotta look at the logistics of the situation. It cost so much to get them together that they neglected to build a bench for the super friends.

With that taken into account, I'd say that 2 championships is pretty good.

NBA franchises with more than 2 titles:

Celtics - 17
Lakers - 16
Bulls - 6
Spurs - 4 (about to be 5)
76ers - 3
Pistons - 3
Warriors - 3

I would gladly take the 2 titles and call it a success

People calling this a failure needs to take a look at the Nets and Knicks who had higher payrolls than the Heat.

It's not the payrolls. It's the talent. The Big 3 chose this. Really they only have one legit title. Getting to the Finals 4 times in that shitty of a conference when they had 3 of the top 5-6 players in the conference isn't all that impressive.

Well, I guess the world will just have to forgive them that they couldn't match the Jordan Bulls or the Russell Celtics.

Either way, calling 2 rings and 4 straight Finals appearances a "failure" reflects a lot more on the person supporting that premise than it does on LeBron.

You forgot the Heat. They had a title pre LeBron.

I know. We are talking about Miami, which is why I left them off.

I'd rather never watch NBA

Haven't watched one second of one game this year

And I asked if they're a failure and it's a fair question

All I know is 2/4 is very underwhelming given the situation

They are definitely 3 superstars (bosh is a superstar purely by association he was an all star in obscurity in toronto), but in their current form I dont know if all 3 are in the top 10 players of the league.

Maybe its just me but Id rather see the stars playing with it all on the line in the playoffs. Obviously Id love for them to be on an organization that builds itself-like durant westbrook and OKC. However Id much rather Bosh and a guy like Love move on and actually see them in the playoffs rather than wait on an organization thats never gonna put it together.
