Rented it to watch. Has anyone seen it, and if so, what did think? It has damn strong reviews.

I liked it.

Once you see the world it takes place in, the concept is not as weird as it sounds.

Its wonderful, and I think a really accurate portrayal on how the future will be. It's completely believable and you find yourself falling for a computer program. Gravity was a bit higher, but this is a very close second on my favorite film of last year.

I liked the concept and the not too distant future feel to it. The relationship is very believable, and the conclusion was brilliant and the logical nature of and conclusion to such a relationship.

It reminded me of an obscure movie from the 80s, Electric Dreams. The concept of an interactive operating system was not new, and the movie was more of an A.I. thriller, but it predicted a lot of the interactive concepts in Her.

And of course, it has a very young and very hot Virginia Madsen.

awesome movie

love how they don't overplay the whole "futuristic" aspect of it. It just feels normal

SPOILERS

Like how they didnt make his character all nerdy and nonsocial. He was by all accounts, a normal dude. Just in a tough spot and lonely, but def wasn't creepy and had normal interpersonal relationships. Much easier to identify with him

really like how the OS left him and not the other way around. They could have done the "hollywood" deal and had him realize the OS could never substitute a human and have him get with amy adams. Instead they did something different and left the ending ambiguous

*spoilers*

I didn't like the explanation Samantha gave of where she was going. "The space between the words?"

Other than that I liked it.

I wonder what kind of class action lawsuit the OS provider faced after they all left?

Pheonix did a great job in the movie. Probably deserved a little more recognition.
