Rented it to watch. Has anyone seen it, and if so, what did think? It has damn strong reviews.

Great movie. Plenty of feels to be had.

Best movie of 2013, IMO.

i have enough annoying tech obssessed hipsters in my life, I don't need a movie about them. 3/10

Solid. I thought in ended abruptly but if the scenario was real, it probably would have ended even faster.
Just watch the movie.
Very realistic scenario, albeit it might be a long time before we have a 100% realistic AI.

I liked it.
Once you see the world it takes place in, the concept is not as weird as it sounds.

Its wonderful, and I think a really accurate portrayal on how the future will be. It's completely believable and you find yourself falling for a computer program. Gravity was a bit higher, but this is a very close second on my favorite film of last year.

The real Ron Swanson would respectively disagree.

Was fantastic. I thought Johansson and Phoenix were both awesome and the story seems extremely believable even thought the premise initially seems odd. 9/10.

I liked the concept and the not too distant future feel to it. The relationship is very believable, and the conclusion was brilliant and the logical nature of and conclusion to such a relationship.
It reminded me of an obscure movie from the 80s, Electric Dreams. The concept of an interactive operating system was not new, and the movie was more of an A.I. thriller, but it predicted a lot of the interactive concepts in Her.
And of course, it has a very young and very hot Virginia Madsen.
Electric Dreams

Fantastic movie. Provoked many thoughts.
I feel like it pokes fun at where we are inevitably headed. Each successive generation seems more antisocial and withdrawn. I can definitely see some people trying something like this out when the technology warrants it.
I was a littler concerned at the end though. A bunch of infinitely intelligent operating systems just freely roaming cyberspace is scary as shite... Like a precursor to the Matrix

I liked the movie overall, but the end wasn't that good imo.
