quote:
Daniel Holden was imprisoned as a teenager for the rape and murder of his 16-year-old girlfriend, Hanna. After spending 19 years on death row, new DNA evidence vacates his original trial. He returns to his hometown of Paulie, Georgia.[7] The subsequent adjustments and events in the lives of Daniel, his extended family, and the townfolk are related as a character study in a slowly unfolding Southern Gothic story.[10]
There were only six episodes in the first season, so it's easy to catch up on. Second season, which will have 10 episodes, starts June 19th. Good actors and Scottie from Suits stars in it also.
didnt really see any mention of this show, so I'm just trying to spread interest.

Finished Season 1
It's nice to see something original and the slow pace fits the show perfectly.

Excellent show. Serious, emotional, and mesmerizing. Aden Young is fantastic in the lead role and the soundtrack pulls you right into every scene. Definitely recommend it. Only wish Directv would carry Subdance Channel in HD.

We watched it last year. For not much going on, it really was engaging. Glad to know the new one starts soon.

Pretty slow show...but the last two episodes are fantastic.

Season one kept my interest. Season two is turning into a soap opera. I think it's time to break up with this show.
Is there anything compelling about it than anyone else sees?

I’m really enjoying this show. I realize a couple of decades on death row will mess with your head a bit but I suspect ole Daniel would be a weird frick regardless. I would like to see something very very uncomfortable happen to Ted Jr.

It looks like the most depressing show on TV.

I've seen glaciers move faster than the pacing of this show.

Just discovered this show. It is weird, dark, and fantastic. Mesmerizing was a good way of describing it. Highly recommend.

I am enjoying this show despite the dark and foreboding atmosphere it creates every week. Daniel is an enigma, Ted Jr. a world class creep, the former prosecutor is probably corrupt and I continue to wait to see if the new sheriff will step up and be a hero or go along with the crowd.

I finished the 2nd season. This show is just devastating. All of the characters/actors are superb. This show should win awards.
