I'm confused. I thought Sterling was going to buttfrick the NBA in his lawsuit?
I'll need our resident experts to come in and explain this latest development to me...

2 billion > buttfricking the nba?
Posted on 6/4/14 at 7:32 pm to Stingray
I was told he was going to drag the NBA through the mud and he was the real winner here.
Now he is because he's $1 billion richer, but I think he'd rather own the team. I know that because he had no plans to sell before the tape was released.
I'll be curious to see if certain posters show their faces in this thread. Prolly a similar phenomenon as the liberals skipping the Bergdahl threads, as Shorty Rob documented.

Maybe you are confusing yourself.
You said sterling was going to drag this shite out for years.

Goes to show you the guy is batshit crazy.... Filed on Friday and withdrew today. He's changed his stance 5-6 times

We are all hanging on the edge of our seats about what a mentally incompetent old man thinks or does?
Posted on 6/4/14 at 7:39 pm to Sentrius
His M.O. to this this point was to do exactly that. I never suggested he was going to drag the NBA through the mud or be victorious in any sense of the word.
Some here said exactly that.

I feel kind of bad and a little selfish, but as a long-suffering Clippers fan (over 20 years) I am SOOOOOOOO glad to be getting rid of Donald Sterling as our owner. The man is absolute scum, and everyone here in L.A. has known that for years. I hate that it took something like this to get rid of him, but all I can say is FREE AT LAST, FREE AT LEAST, THANK GOD ALMIGHTY WE'RE FREE AT LAST!!!

Yeah, I'm sure the is a happy day for Clipper nation. He's been a miser-arse shithead for awhile and only found good fortune because David Stern handed it to him on a CP3-sized platter.

What are the annual cash flows for the franchise? Is he making out like a bandit for making racist comments?
Posted on 6/4/14 at 7:54 pm to TerryDawg03
He's making out like a bandit for the reasons outlined in a Forbes article I'm not linking bc I'm on a phone. Definitely right place, right time.

It's for the best that this just go away. It's already been in the news way too long.

Agreed. I'm just waiting on darkhorse and SavageOrangeJug and Gee Oh to come in and tell us how he actually won by being forced to sell his team.

You don't have to wait on them. Based on the cash flows and what rate it works out to, he very well could be.

nopussy, you sure do worry about me....A LOT.
He sold a $500 million team for $2 billion. If you need that explained, I can't help you.
No matter how hard you want Sterling to be punished...IT DID NOT HAPPEN.
