The White House has been pushing statements to Chuck Todd, amongst others, about how they didn't know that Bergdahl's platoon-mates would "Swift Boat" him.

I don't think that the military will like some of its own being called liars for revealing what a POS Bergdahl is.

They didn't know his platoon mates who watched their friends die trying to find him, would tell the truth?

It is crazy that the Taliban has been more forthcoming with information than the White House in this whole situation.

Political posturing after lying to America.

The White House is moving quickly to quell growing bipartisan concern that Congress was kept in the dark about the controversial deal with the Taliban to release Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl.

Senior administration officials will head to Capitol Hill on Wednesday evening for a rare private meeting with all 100 senators in a secure facility in the Capitol Visitor Center. The senators will hear from James Dobbins, a State Department specialist on Afghanistan and Pakistan, Deputy Secretary of Defense Robert Work and Admiral James Winnefeld, the deputy director of national intelligence.

Ahead of the meeting, the only senator to receive a heads up from the White House before Bergdahl’s Saturday release — Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid — took to the floor to defend President Barack Obama’s deal.

“Opponents of President Obama have seized upon the release of an American prisoner of war — that’s what he was — using a moment of celebration for our nation as a chance to play political games,” Reid said on Wednesday morning. “They’re worried his release could be seen as a victory for President Obama.”

I'm stunned. No mention of the Koch bros.

You can tell the WH TOTALLY misjudged this prisoner swap. Their obvious motive to make the swap now was to get the VA off the headlines. The main thing that the WH DID NOT anticipate was Bergdahl colleagues accusing him of desertion.

They have LOST control of the narrative and because the narrative has been lost the deafening silence from the liberal posters on this board is LOUD AND CLEAR.

The WH is currently in spin control. They can't get the talking points out quick enough because they keep stepping in it. They need to remember the first rule of being a doctor, first step is to do no harm. But they can't help themselves. There arrogance is overbearing.

It would be fun to watch if the frick ups weren't so serious.

I'm hitting my limit on the number of characters allowed in my OP. Has anything been debunked that can be deleted? I will continue the list in a post below and add a link to it at the bottom of the OP thanks!

My eyes are not what they were, is this in that list?

President Obama admitted during a press conference in Warsaw on Tuesday that the five Taliban members he ordered to be released from Guantanamo Bay could very well turn around and harm Americans — but apparently, that it was a chance he was willing to take.

“Is there a possibility of some of them trying to return to activities that are detrimental to us? Absolutely,” he said, the New York Daily News reported. “That’s been true of all the prisoners that were released from Guantanamo. There’s a certain recidivism rate that takes place.”

Mr. Obama’s remarks also come as one Taliban commander in Afghanistan, Mullah Salem Khan, announced that the freed five had already started prepping to do battle, the New York Daily News reported.

“As soon as they arrived in Qatar, they rejoined the Taliban,” he told The Daily Beast, “We don’t care about U.S. conditions and obstacles.”
