I follow MLB pretty regularly, but admittedly do not follow at all really in the minor league systems. I'm interested to know who some of the teams are that are very deep and some that maybe are pretty weak when it comes to prospects in the farm systems. .

St Louis and the white soxs always seem to bring up good young players. The difference seems to me is the cards keep them

Cubs are loaded with bats in their farm.

Twins, Red Sox, Pirates, Cubs, Astros are pretty much the consensus top currently.

But it's obviously a very fluid process.

Red Sox are disgustingly loaded with riches currently.

The Bravos used to have a good one....til they started trading all their prospects for rent-a-players i.e. Teixeira

The Astros seem to be unloading a few good ones this year.

Rays man! Mikey Mahtook is on the rise! Could see him at some point this year, if not, next for sure.

Astros, Marlins, Twins, Pirates, Cubs, Red Sox, Cardinals, Mets, Rockies all have pretty good ones. The best ones are the Astros, Twins, and Pirates.

Clearly the Marlins. They have a solid minor league set up going and then they develop them nicely in the majors for other teams

In past years the Marlins have had one of the best. All those players we trade away and what not brings some talent. We've had 4 ROY award winners in the past decade and many more in the top voting. Marlins FTW.

And as you can see, they're paying off now.

OP,

The Astros have a good farm system again. They have 4 (after Singleton was promoted to the bigs) prospects currently ranked in the Top 50 of all the MLB. They have 7 in the top 100. The Pirates, Cubs, Red Sox, and Twins also have a solid amount of highly touted prospects.
