LSU offensive line coach Jeff Grimes landed a verbal pledge from Arizona JUCO offensive tackle Jevonte Domond last month. Now, Domond made his pledge official when he signed his scholarship papers during a trip to Baton Rouge this weekend.
Domond will count towards LSU's 2014 class, when the Tigers signed just 23 scholarship players, two under the 25-man cap.
Domond will have three years to play three seasons, and he will enroll at LSU immediately and begin workouts with the team. Domond will be eligible to play offensive tackle for the Tigers as early as this fall.

I'm loving this. Gets experience this year then slides to RT next year so Hawkins goes to LT. Hopefully we can keep both Big Hawk and Alexander with Pocic at center. That should give us two guys with at least two years of starts, a guy whose played JUCO, and our most experienced backup lineman. Wonder who would get RG?

This is HUGE news!!! He comes in and maybe gets reps this year while having an additional 2 years to play. Also, frees up a spot in the 2015 class. This is a win-win for everybody.
