I have Maui Jim's and wayfarers. Both good glasses. Polarized Lens on MJ are better

Don't buy Maui Jim's. They're pretty fragile....mine didn't even last me a year. Bought a pair of Ray Bans and they've been really durable and reliable.

Don't listen to this mother fricker. Maui Jim's are bitchin'. I have one pair of Maui Jim's and three pairs of Ray Ban's. I wear the Maui Jim's probably 98% of the time. Far better lenses.

Agreed. I just had mine repaired caused I scratched the lenses all up. $70 but not a bad deal considering the cost of a good pair of sunglasses.

I have a pair of Persol's as well but the maui jim's are my everyday pair of sunglasses

My Maui Jim's have been awesome. I'm pretty rough on them. Had them for two or three years with no problems. Can't remember the exact model of mine.

I sent my broken Maui Jims to them and they replaced them for around $10. Both them and Costa are great about that.

I've heard mostly bad stories about Costa customer service, but I've never used it for any of the pairs I've owned. FWIW, I just had the lenses on my Kaenon's replaced and it cost me 10 bucks and about 2 weeks.

I bought a pair of Turbines probably 15 years or so ago. The rubber on the arms and nose pieces started peeling. I sent them back about two weeks ago and was notified that that model is no longer available. So, they told me to pick a new style and they would send them to me. My only limitations were:

1. Had to be blue lenses
2. Could not be prescription
3. Could not be limited edition

Yesterday I received an email that they have shipped and are the way to me. I was happy.

Check out Alexandria's carpeted mall...I'm sure they have a sunglasses place in there.

I just sent mine back for the same issue with my Man O wars.

Hopefully they just fix them. I love those glasses.

Good to hear. I haven't worn Costas in a couple years, so I haven't had much of a chance to put them to the test.

Just order a pair of brines off the internet and be done with it. A lot of the styles suck anyway.

Yep. I buy from the brand that held the US government contracts before them, American Optical. They didn't produce as many styles, but I like their Pilot glasses (which have 320+ optional setups). You can get polarized (pilot's glasses aren't really polarized since the gauges are) glass lenses and custom sizes for around $80.

I have these as well that the lens cracked in the upper corner where the screw is. They are sending me a new pair to replace them. As soon as I get them I am selling those bitches.

This. They have great deals from time to time. Picked mine up for $90 and they have been great.

Don Draper gets his there too, btw.
