I still hold hope. You shall not bring me down!
J/K of course. Totally forgot about the 6 man rotation, so let's hope the front office forgot too, yes?

Seriously. Or maybe if it's wood he'll get a phantom "damn i suck" edwin jackson type injury adn they skip him. If it's doubront they might almost do a 2 starter type day with doubront going 4 and strailey or jockich going 4 (assuming things go well), and that could be super cool.

So, I spent last week driving from New Orleans to Wisconsin. Along the way, I made a stop at Busch Stadium to watch the Cubs and Cards. The Cubs won the game that night and I got to see two Soler bombs. That guy is really impressive. (Also impressive, Kyle Hendricks and Arismendy Alcantara.)
Then, I had my first experience inside Wrigley Field on Labor Day. The Cubs also won that game and Luis Valbuena's HR to right center went right over my head in the bleachers. That place is a shrine and a dump all in the same structure.
Anyway, I just wanted to share that. If you are a Cubs fan and haven't been to Wrigley Field, you need to make it a priority to do it and do it within the next three to five years because the Cubs will be one hell of an exciting team to be a fan of in that time.

I've been lucky enough to have front row by the guy with the pink hat behind home plate in the 2007 playoffs against Arizona.
I've also been in the Executive Club too, hung out with Dan Patrick back in 2012.
(end subtle brag)
I've been in the bleachers, Infield box, etc. My absolute favorite seats in Wrigley though, is front row, upper deck on the first base side. By far my favorite seat in the house. I'll be there again on Sunday.

Another rough one from turner. Also speculation that cubs may non tender wood. Guess if you're stuck with one Edwin jackson no need to pay the other.
If anyone missed the little bitchfest the brewers and their minor league team started because olt was rehabbing at a KC playoff game I encourage you to go check that out. Pretty funny.

cubs scouted lester's start last night against the white sox.
Means nothing other than to fuel the lester to the cubs flames.

Any room for Coughlan on the squad next season?

I can fap to myrtle beach. I went to a few games there when I was younger. I saw Rafael Furcal and Jeff Franceour. I even got a piece of Franceour's broken bat and he signed it for me. Still have it in my closet.

Absolutely. I'm not on the get russel martin bandwagon, mainly because paying for a 32 year old catcher for what he's done, not what he's going to do, after having a career year just sounds like a terrible idea, but catcher and OF are the only real places we can upgrade thanks to all the kids. So even if the cubs do as i'd prefer and go OF over catcher for an upgrade then there is still room for Coughlan as a 4th OF, which would be fantastic. Otherwise i can see a scenario where he's starting.

For nothing other than giggles. When looking up the Myrtle Beach team yesterday after it was announced I found a list where they had all the current and former MLB players. Had frency listed as outfielder/pitcher for the san diego padres. For some reason i chuckle a bit every time i see him listed as a pitcher.

Seriously. What an absolutely dominating performance. and we got him for what...less than half a season of feldman (not even to speak about strop)?
Oh yea, and screw that white sox fan for ruining the most perfect excuse ever for losing your wedding ring. "but Honey, I lost it giving a high five"
One more 'and another thing:' is it possible for brandon phillips to be any more dislikable (staring down a double)?
