Sports with the worst officiating

SEC football refs are really bad, but here are 3 sports with even worse officiating.
3. College basketball. I can't tell what is supposed to be a foul in this game. My guess: what's called a foul is determined by who the home team is.
2. Pro boxing. It's gotten so bad that I just turn the tv off, if it comes to a decision. The judges get it wrong more often than they get it right.
1. World Cup Soccer. It's amazing to me how an official can mess up this simple game. But when the final score is often 1-0, a single blunder can make the difference between winning and losing.

NBA is bad but college basketball in the NCAA tournament can get really bad, also powerhouses in one bid leagues(like Butler or Gonzaga) get favorable calls every single game to where its unwatchable and you pull against them by principle alone

I have trouble watching NBA games because the officiating is just that bad. They also seem to think people pay money to come see them and not the players.

The Olympics are almost a class by themselves because of international politics.
Of the American sports, the NBA and I don't think it's close. Collegiate officiating is bad because of incompetence. The NBA is horrific because of three decades of David Stern manipulating games to favor the stars and big market teams. The NBA refs make Vince McMahon blush.

College hoops is easily the worst. The tony greenes and ted valentines that think they are more important than the players and the game itself.
Honorable mention...nba(crawford)...sec football...english soccer

Any football game where someone is playing against Alabama or Auburn

I don't know where the gif is, but isn't he the one who ran down a player then called a foul on the opposing team?

I think that SEC football refs are actually really good, especially compared to the Pac 10 and Big East /AAC. The problem is that the fans dwell on their mistakes more than any other conference. I also don't think college basketball's problem is as much the refs as it is the lack of clarity in the fouling rules.
For the World Cup, you get bad refereeing because FIFA has to pick refs from every region when all of the best ones are in Europe. The ref who screwed us against Slovenia had only refereed African games before.
I agree that the NBA is worst followed by MLB (which is better than it was 10 years ago). I think it's clear that the NFL is the best.

NBA - the one sport home court advantage is so obvious because of officials. Free throw statistics drastically change for the home team. Star players foul like crazy but their teammates get the foul or there is a no call.

As an avid NBA fan, that league's officiating is the worst, and it has been well documented.
I don't watch very much CBBall during the reg season, but I'm almost always impressed with the officiating in the tourney. It may be bad at times, but it's consistently bad for both teams. I guess I'm also comparing it to the NBA, where rec teenagers look more competent.

NBA no question....or if you want to just do sports basketball, college isn't any better

Professional Wrestling. I once saw a wrestler hit his opponent upside the head with a metal folding chair. The referee did nothing.
