Before you get up and leave. Had appointment at 330. Got here about 315. Still in the waiting room. About to leave and find another doctor.

There's not much in life I wait in line that long for. The only thing I can think of is the DMV where I don't have a choice, but I go to the express now a days.

Sorry. You're on the death panel's list.

It's been my observation that Ole Miss fans are better at waiting.

I don't wait for anything longer than 20 minutes or so unless I could at least order a drink.

Your doctor is an a-hole for leading that poor drug rep in the back on for that long.

I don't wait. I get the first appointment in the morning.

I never never accept a doctors appointment on Monday or Friday and nothing after 9am. You are asking for problems of time management if you do. To be fair they have to do what they have to do and the later their day gets the number of patients with needs just grows as the day is long.

I usually get in the patient room in reasonable time but once there consistently wait 45 minutes or longer to see the doc. It's pretty damn frustrating. Last time it hit the hour mark and started walking the halls asking if they forgot about me. I like my doc but the bullshite gets old.

Never more than 30 min unless an emergency and staff let's patients know. Don't wait at dentist office either.

30 minutes after appointment time I'm gone from waiting room
45 minutes from appointment time I'm leaving even if already in exam room

Two hours. In fact, I was 10 minutes from leaving today when the doctor walked in. I haven't seen one of my doctors in about 9 months because I walk out after 2 hours.
I'm thinking seriously about making it 1.5 hours.

I see Dr Chris Lee in Baton Rouge and have never wanted more than fifteen minutes.

I always request the first appointment of the day, or the first spot after lunch.
11:00 appointments guarentee at least a 30 min wait.
You have to remember for doctors that the first appointment for most patients at 8:20 don't show up until 8:30 due to "traffic" and then take another 20 minutes to fill out paperwork/have nurse take vitals, etc., fricking up the whole morning schedule.
This is assuming a clinic doctor with hospitalists coverage for inpatients.

I usually wait longer at the pharmacy.

Honestly I don't think I've waited more than 15 minutes for my doctor. Specialists are another story. When they've been very late it's because they are also on call at the hospital and emergencies tend to pop up regularly.
