OT Workout Gods - Assemble - Workout Advice

I need a new type of workout. I've typically done a "bodybuilding" split type workout.
Day 1: Chest
Day 2: Back
Day 3: Shoulders
Day 4: Arms
Day 5: Legs
Usually do some type of cardio intervals on the "off" days.
I am growing increasingly bored with this and need something to shake it up. I'm actually considering crossfit which I've usually been against.
I really need something that I can do at your typical gym without too much trouble.
What ya got OT gods?

I felt the same way and joined. Loved it. Most of my friends and I who do it don't do the bullshite just the more "bro" workouts that are strength oriented.
If you go to a gym go to a place with quality instruction and people you'd want to work out with. Makes a huge differentce

I tried the first P90 and just didn't like it. The only part that was hard to me was plyo.

X2 is different. Stability ball, medicine balls, etc. It's really awesome. I just got done with two rounds of it. I'm so flexible and strong it's gross.

Where can I see exercises that involve these?

warmup to 2 rep max with either barbell snatch or clean
then hit a compound lift then work in a couple isolation exercises at the endd of your workout. monday wednesday friday.
working on the technique for olympic lifts should keep you entertained for a while.
cross fit can introduce you to the exercises if you are unfamiliar. youtube videos can help expedite the learning process. dimitry klokov is a sensei. strength camp and overtimeathletes are very good channels

Crossfit or have you considered martial arts? Krav Maga, kickboxing etc. Something more interesting than pushing a piece of metal up and down.

Take a month off and do Pilates. You probably can't wipe your butt judging from your avi.
The added flexibility will help with lifts, elongate muscles, and allow you to wipe your butt.

Keep the same routine and follow Max-OT principles.
10-12 working sets each body part day where you are failing in the 4-6 rep range.

How about you just dedicate a day to just running. When i run, that's something I do atleast. Do some distance, work in some sprints, maybe a heal or two. Possibly just improvise, whatever you enjoy doing.

Change gyms for 6 months. Just try to be bigger and stronger for when you return to your normal gym. Do a different workout for 6 months and see what kind of results you get. No one knows you at the new place and you won't get dumb looks from your friends when you try something new. If you used to high volume, try switching to high intensity for as long as you can stand it. Without gear, most can handle 2 months high intensity, tops. Just break the pace with original 5/3/1, doggcrapp, or rippetoes 5x5. Do something simple. You might end up missing your standard routine.
