Will someone in the know give me the scouting report on Barbe... I know about the twins but what about the rest of the team? Hitting? Pitching?

Barbe has no weaknesses, 6 players committed to D-1 schools, no outs in the lineup or a hitter that the pitcher can relax on, they will bunt you to death if they need to, and their pitchers all throw 3-4 pitches for strikes at any time in the count.

You've got your hands full, we faced them 4 times this year and they got better as the year went along. They have no place in their batting order where a pitcher can relax. My son threw 4 innings against them earlier this year and held them to 2 runs and he said it felt like he had thrown a complete game. The 5th inning was their 3rd time to see him and they responded with 4 straight hits to chase him from game. Each time I have seen them play this year the 3rd time for them to see the pitcher has resulted in a big inning. Massey threw well against them last Saturday and they bunted their way to a win. Their defense is playing very solid right now and pitchers are throwing a lot of strikes, they will be very tough to beat in the tournament.

Take away the bunt and pitch backwards.

Well the Gators put up a fight but couldn't pull it off. Brennan Grant held Barbe to just 4 hits throwing a complete game. He made 1 mistake and gave up a 2 run homer. The only runs by both teams. St. Amant had a couple more hits I think but couldn't get the timely hit when they needed it. Made it a tougher game than most thought.
