Didn't feel very long ago when Lee was the savior of the 2011 season...played game-winning football while Jefferson was suspended and set us up for an SEC title.

Wasn't he at one time saying the opposite until T-Bob told him to STFU?

hope the VooDoo can sign him... he'd be the 4th LSU QB in the Arena League in the last two years

Fancy seeing you here.

Bashing Jefferson. White knighting for Lee. Imagine that.

LOL Que?

Everybody outside of Louisiana either doesn't give a shite about Jarrett Lee or even know who he is.

The Lions also announced that quarterback Jarrett Lee has been released

That's a shame. I hope Lee catches on somewhere.

Dammit, I'd like to see Lee succeed.

I guess JJ went on IR with Pitt after 5TDs vs VooDoo last year, but there was another suspension of some sort?
He seems to have dropped off the map.

Would anyone in BR hire him?
Just to set the record straight, I made this comment as a joke. I have nothing against Jarrett Lee. My second son was even named Jarrett because my wife liked the name so much. IMO he was apart of LSU's best team in 2011. Without him we would have surely won less than 9 games in 2008. Did he struggle at times, sure. But I remember some great games he was apart of also. Who can forget the Florida game in 2010 when after an almost failed fake FG, Lee hitting Toliver for a huge play then throwing that touchdown. I have nothing but respect for what Lee did at LSU.

He's succeeded if he never takes another snap of organized football in his life.

Indeed. And the same can be said for all players who sacrificed their time, energy and bodies to entertain us.

Takes a little more than that.
