What is the GOAT Disney song?

Can you feel the love tonight- The Lion King
Tale as old as time-Beauty and the Beast
Why should I worry-Oliver and Company
I'll make a man out of you-Mulan
You'll be in my heart-Tarzan
Bare Necessities-The Jungle Book
Under the Sea-Little Mermaid
Bippity Bobbity Boo-Cinderella
Colors of the wind-Pochahontas
Let it go-Frozen
A whole new world-Aladdin
Circle of Life-The Lion King
Hellfire-The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Friend like me-Aladdin
Wanna be like you-The Jungle Book

Just a few there are plenty more what's the GOAT?

My personal fav is Whole New World from Aladdin but it is my favorite disney film too so I'm biased

Personal favorite is I'll Make a Man Out of You

The GOAT is a tough call between Beauty and the Beast and Whole New World

Hard to say which one is my favorite...Hellfire is the best villain song and it's not even close.

Not a huge fan of Can You Feel the Love Tonight--Be Prepared is a lot better.

I'll Make a Man Out of You is one of my favorites for sure.

Beauty and the Beast is a great song and I love all the songs in it. Gaston is even more awesome if you see the Broadway/off-Broadway version and they have a whole number with the beer mugs .

Haven't seen Oliver and Company in probably 17-18 years, don't remember that song.

You'll be in my Heart is okay; I prefer the Two Worlds One Family song...definitely a good soundtrack since Phil Collins did it.

Bare Necessities is okay. I prefer "Wanna be like You".

Under the Sea is great; definitely a classic.

Bippity Bobbity Boo is alright.

Colors of the Wind has great animation but I prefer If I Never Knew You and Savages.

Let It Go is overplayed/overhyped. I have satellite radio in my car and I can't tell you how many times the regular stations play it.

A Whole New World is overrated IMO. I prefer Friend like Me and Prince Ali.

Circle of Life...mehhhhh.

And thanks for adding Hellfire to the list. Love it and all the symbolism in it. Disney was definitely ahead of their time and took a big risk putting that song in a children's movie.

Friend Like Me should be on the list IMO.

And ever since The Princess and the Frog was released, I've absolutely LOVED these 2 songs: Down in New Orleans & Gonna Take You There.

I prefer Wanna Be Like You from Jungle Book, but Bare Necessities is great too

I am also a fan of Robin Hood, so I'd have to say Not In Nottingham too

We are going to Disney in 3 weeks and my wife always has the damn Disney Pandora channel playing when I get home. I am sick of fricking Disney music.

But I will go with Hellfire-The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Winner of lyrically most like a rap song.

quote:

Under the sea
Darling it's better
Down where it's wetter
Take it from me

Might be the best.

Little Mermaid is strong from start to finish..may be the best Disney soundtrack (though LK is up there as well, and is my favorite).

Clearly, the most unique song and best song lyrically is probably "Hellfire." And it isn't close. At all.

But in terms of best "Disney-like" song, I'd probably give the nod to "Upon a Star," "Be Our Guest," or "The Bare Necessities."

Best Openers are "Circle of Life," and "Belles of Notre Dame" as 1a and 1b. Both are magnificent.

"Beauty and the Beast" is probably the most iconic song of the Disney Renaissance.
