I can't imagine she doesn't run.
She's got a lot of Frank Underwood in her. To me, her running is a foregone conclusion.
there are rumors she has some health issues. I can see that impacting the decision. Plus she is about to be a grandma. she will be almost 70 in 2016.
I would not be surprised either way.

I do agree if she is running, she should start running now.
Yup. Time is not on her side and she will not be lucky enough to have a John McCain running against her.
This version of her? Formidable.
This version? Honestly? Not so much.
Optics. Not good.

I have yet to see the republicans trot out someone I think can beat her though. Paul would have the best shot but I seriously doubt he gets the nomination.

Agreed. They have to bring someone to compare/contrast (youthful but experienced) versus her experience (and she does have it - cannot be a U.S. Senator and Secretary of State without gaining some).
If it is (R) old/experienced versus (D/HRC) old/experienced, I would put money on a D/HRC victory. She does have her true believers (Rex, a want, Chicken).

It's a coronation if she runs. Remember: It's not normal for parties to ravage themselves from within during a primary.
Hillary isn't even electable within the democrat party. Well... at least, she wasn't six years ago. You think she's improved her standing?

She ran into the buzzsaw that was the Hope and Change pretty, articulate black guy.
Nobody else was winning that primary but him.

Simply put, she ran into a more "likable" candidate.
It's hard to find a less "likable" candidate than Hillary.
Nixon's election was arguably the last time the less "likable" candidate won the office. I argue, it's a much bigger hurdle than a lot of people realize, and I'm with the guy who would prefer her to the current occupant.

She ran into a machine that was absolutely dedicated to getting that gentleman elected. Nothing was going to stand in his way. And I am saying that as someone who would not have voted for either one of them.

The first black president claimed Obama had thrown the race card. What the Dems did to Hillary in Texas was the definition of poetic justice.

She and obama had an epic battle, and she didn't get trounced. She won't let that happen again if she runs, and she likely inherits obama's machine for GOTV.
I do agree she is really unlikeable though.

Go watch any speech of her in any setting. Other than a handful of old yentas on the Upper West Side, who can she possibly relate to?
I will stand by a prediction that she doesn't get the nomination. As I've said, I'm more fearful of who may get it in her stead because I think Rand Paul (and any halfway likable republican) beats HER, but I'm not sure about or willing to wager on the currently unknown alternative.

Also we need to get to the bottom of why the Benghazi consulate asked for further protection and didn't get it. Was it because the president & Clinton was trying to buy back arms that they had given to Al Qada.
Your first question is extremely valid and significant.
Your second question made my head swivel.

I will watch to see what happens but I bet this disappears in a few months.
I told each it would remain a major issue well into 2014.

The Democratic establishment knows Biden is unelectable, and (I hope) they realize Elizabeth Warren is too far to the left to get elected.
I don't think they rush Booker out there. Who else is in the stable? I feel like I'm missing someone.

In the general, she would win women resoundingly. Obama did in 08/12, but HRC would do even better. She may not be able to relate to her, but never underestimate the power of the uterus! She would probably pull some crossover from republican ranks based on her being a woman.

I think the demographic thing is working against republican candidates with their current messaging.
The only game changer for republicans would be Rand Paul, who is unlikely to get the nomination. But he could attract cross over votes.
if the republicans nominate a soft conservative like christy, then I could see him winning too but its not a shoe-in.

There will never be a Benghazi special prosecutor.

shite if I know? I'm thinking (hoping?) they are convinced of Hillary's "electability," I guess. I think it might explain their sudden clamoring to get Jeb Bush anointed as her opponent.
