stop blaming CPM for the 2-2 Pitch out that was Dunn's call

Dunn calls every single pitch so Dunn likely told the C to make two pitchouts, I highly doubt that CPM told him what to do in that situation. Dunn is obviously smarter than every one on this board when it comes to pitching so yes it was a huge risk but stop blaming CPM.

I don't understand why people don't get this lol

You honestly think Dunn is gonna do something like that, in that crucial situation, without the Head Coaches consent. You sure is dumb.

Dunn obviously calls the pitches but I don't think it is a stretch to think Mainieri is involved in calling pitchouts, both when they work and when they don't.

I think CPM trusts dunn to make those decisions, no-one has the guts to call out Dunn, they just want to blame the head coach.

I don't see cpm leaning over every pitch tellin dunn what to call

If it had worked nobody would be questioning it right now. Some one you fans without your hindsight baseba knowledge simply amazes me.

You're not calling a 2-2 pitch out in that spot without running it by the manager. That goes beyond calling a pitch, that's a game management call.

It's clearly Dunn's fault. Nothing to do with youth at the position.

I guess all of our coaches suck now. I thought Dunn was safe.

I don't care if it was Maineri, Dunn, Torre, Larussa, or freaking Connie Mack.....I don't think it was the right call in fact it bordered on idiocy.

No, because anyone who knows anything about baseball knows that's stupid!

Lol it's not stupid. It's called taking a risk. Do you know the difference?

Risky call that didn't pay off. It happens sometimes.
