Again, it sounds to me like Alleva is going around bragging that his deadbeat brother in law told him that he promises that he will try to find a job---and this time he's serious!

Do you people want CBS to agree to nothing but night games? That's just never going to happen.
So for years, everyone bitches that there aren't enough night games. Alleva tries to fix that, and the same retards complaining about lack of night games now complain about Alleva trying to get more night games.

Funny how tradition is selectively important. Make a big show about night games, but herd tailgating off campus by charging people to park and close off certain parts of campus while selectively charging more for "bigger" games in TS while continuing to send the biggest games to Houston, Dallas, and Atlanta.

Anyone who bitches about this is a moron.
Night games are probably the single biggest gameday tradition at this school. If Alleva has secured us more of them, it's probably the biggest accomplishment of an otherwise mediocre career.

At least he's trying and speaking out on what he believes is in the best interest of LSU.
He could sit on his hands and not be a wave maker. He could do like other AD's and always follow others leads, to the detriment of his school but the benefit of his career. Even worse, he could be the SEC's Baylor where we would ride on the coat tails of t-sips and sue other schools on their behalf.
Those would be the easy road because the SEC has it's own version of UTx. He hasn't. I applaud him for that.

At least Alleva said something, which is an improvement over years past. Getting the conversation going is step one. It may be a really long fight to get what we want, but it has to start somewhere. Everyone back off the criticism. This is just what we need our AD to do on this issue at this point.

Since the sec voted to keep itself unfair due to "traditions" he used that argument to help us keep nights games...because that is our tradition...

First off, none of us know that for sure, so stop acting like you do. Secondly, I'd love to hear how you feel he should literally force 13 other teams to conform to LSU's tradition while simultaneously breaching multi-million dollar contracts with CBS and ESPN.
