LSU-Auburn 06

If I remember right, that robbed us of a national title run. That was a great team.

block in the back on D. Davis return TD @ Va Tech completely killed momentum shift.

It was a block below the waist...and as I recall a good call.

I think the PP7 interception against Bama (2010...I think) is worth mentioning. Definitely top 5 in my opinion.

I just did and ran around the office cursing Auburn fans.

They looked puzzled.

Perhaps...but we still had to drive down and score. The refs in the Auburn game in 2006 kept taking scoring opportunities from LSU every chance they had a review of an on-field call. We were already knocking on the door on most of those pivotal calls.

In the modern era it's this. There may be one worse from years ago, but I'd be hard pressed to think there really is one worse.

Even thinking about that game is aggravating my PTSD about it...

Nah...the UF loss did us in...gave us our 2nd loss in a year where that could not have been overcome. Had we lost to AU but won out, wed have played Florida again in the SECCG and with a win would have gone one to beat the ever living frick out of tOSU. We'd have won the tie breaker in the west with Arky that year.

But still, I'll always hate AU for that god damned game...

well, I 'witnessed' the ones mentioned which are all fine choices. I 'witnessed' this on tv. 1988 Ohio State game in Columbus. Bobby Olive trapped a "touchdown" pass with under a minute left.

The 2009 Alabama game is extremely overrated in terms of losses. People act like LSU was winning and the interception would have sealed it. The chances Lee drives LSU down the field there are slim to none.
