Ill tell you way back in the gap I spent some time at the "skrimp and petro fest" and had a blast. Those urrl field trash throw down with that urrl fiel cash that is for sure

Do you even go to contraband days anymore? We've done everything possible to clean it up from the mess it became in the 90's.
People complain about the gate fee but if it's free then you get the dregs.
Contraband inc. Only has one paid employee. All others are volunteers.
All the police are paid by contraband inc. for security.
Contraband inc has to rent the civic center from the city.
All other festivals in the state are supported by their city but Lake Charles doesn't help at all.
Corporate sponsors are practically zilch.
There's a lot of good people who try their hardest to make it a great festival.
It's one of the oldest and largest festivals in Louisiana and I truly wish the complainers would donate some time to it to help make it what you want instead of starting threads about how trashy you think it is.

Well we found the head of one of the fests.
And the answer to the OP is the Strawberry fest. But it happens the same weekend as the FQF so I will probably never go again.

I haven't been in years as I admitted but if things have changed that much then they have done a horrible job of letting people know about it.
