First Alabama game at SEC Tournament in 2000.They were starting to go back down a little from their 1996-1999 run,but they were pretty darn good.
We were the 'visitors' and I forgot who it was but after the first batter got on,the 2 hitter hit a "homerun". The reason I put quotations around it is if you are a long time SEC tournament spectator, through 2000, the SEC kept the Birmingham Barons' outfield wall sponsors ads displayed. The background of them all was white and this game was a 5:00 start. The ball went to deep Center and was called a homer. But it actually died at the warning track but the ump couldn't tell. The Alabama CF went nuts (rightfully so) and so did their crowd. LSU went up 4-0 in that inning.
Alabama actually took the lead in the 5th or 6th. But LSU came back and won and won big, 18-12 with some knockouts in the 8th. Still there were over 11 or 12,000 that night and it was pretty intense.

Wes Grisham, who had only two hits in his previous 17 at-bats, hit a home run to key a four-run seventh inning as Louisiana State beat USC, 5-4, Sunday in the championship round of the NCAA South I Regional at Baton Rouge, La. LSU (51-17) needed to defeat the Trojans twice. The title game Sunday night was postponed until 10 a.m. PDT today because of rain and 50-m.p.h. winds. The winner will advance to the College World Series starting Friday at Omaha.
My best

That whole regional was awesome. I had season tickets then but gave them up when I moved to Houston. Nothing like hanging at the ballpark all day watching the Tigers. Isn't that the series we dropped like 5 touchdowns on GTech?

Championship game vs, Stanford in 2000. Tigers trailed Stanford-- looked dire after 7 innings. Tigers rallied behind Barbier and Witten with homers. Clutch pitching and fielding. allowed Cresse to drive in Theriot with the walkoff championship winner.

Think it was 2003 After losing game 1, squeaked away in game 2. Then the offense EXPLODED in game 3, ran Baylor out of pitching and easily won the series.
