Mom recently found a pup on side of the road and has kept it the last few days. Looking to try and find out what type it is. I don't have much knowledge of dogs but I have had a lab pup before and this doesn't look like a lab nor does it have big paws.
Sorry for the shitty pics

That is the rare "lab mix". Good looking dog.

Pit Retriever.
Seriously. Pics of Mom? Doubt she's too old for some of us.
Hey, Geauxt....up for some geriatric eye-candy?

That is a 57. They make some of the best all around dogs.
Now pictures of said Mom.

Looks damn close to what mine looks like...
Mine is most likely a lab/terrier mix.
I wanted a pure lab, but was willing to go the mutt route as long as it looked like they would get to a decent size.
If your in that same boat, I encourage you to get rid of it. But then again all dogs aren't the same and its part of how you raise it. All the books I've read and videos I've watched can't help mine.

My dad used to call those and many others, "Russian Bear Dogs". They rush around the house and bear down on the biscuits.
Being all black, probably a lot of Lab, but the first pic looks like a pit. Could be a mix. I had a Cat.cur that bred to a lab and half of her puppies looked exactly like her. She was gray with black spots. The other 4 pups were solid black and I'd dare anyone to guess they were not pure labs. Except for two of those had blue/white eyes. Hope he makes a great pet!

Whatever it is, we have a huge chocolate lab that it will not back down to and in fact will chase it.
