I guess the Children of the Forest should be in charge.
That would make for a pretty lame game of thrones.

I would want Bran Stark to end up ruling.

I'm going with Aegon VI.
Although, in the end it may be a triarchy with Dany and Jon, all sharing the rule.

People are suggesting Jon Snow so I guess so.

If the current king were to legitimize a bastard that bastard could then become ruler of a region or even the entire kingdom at a later time.

Arya is a great character but not willing to compromise so I believe she would make a horrible queen. Stannis would be my choice.
So Arya would be horrible because she can't compromise but you still want Stannis, the most implacable man in Westeros, to be King?

Last I recall he stayed with Beric and Thoros... but I'm still in the middle of book 4. And my memory sucks.

His story is drastically different in the show, you may want to tread lightly with any further comments about him. Hodors hate book knowledge.

A more accurate comment would be they hate spoilers.

Then they should stick to the Hodor thread, don't you think?
And Robert had another bastard too in the book, that ended up at Storm's End I believe.

You can't spoil a plot that was revealed 14 years ago.

Jon Snow, because of the melt.

Sure, but seeing as how this thread has no spoiler tag they would have no clear reason to avoid it.

It should probably have Spoilers in the title just to be safe.
However, the very premise of the thread in itself is a spoiler.
