3. Will Dwight & Harden have their way?
4. Is Lin's lack of defense going to ultimately cost his team?

Uhh. This has never been a question for either player. Dwight has heart. That's why he gets upset with shitty teammates and coaches. And James Harden's heart has never been questioned.

Beverly has really done well on Lillard, I think Lillards fg% is 29% in games that Beverly played.

He'll get his, Houston has defended him well late in games in the games they've won. They'll have to do more of that.

Yes

4. Is Lin's lack of defense going to ultimately cost his team?

I don't think so, he's not THAT bad at defense.

5. Anyone worried about Dwight & Harden's heart, or lack thereof?

not sure if serious. These guys want to win as much as anyone.

No Houston is hungrier.

HOU in 6. This will be a great series I can see every game being really competitive. Houston wins because they have the superior defense and they have the best player in Harden.

depends which Rockets team shows up....

The Rockets who dominated after the all-star break, for the most part? if so, it'll be over in 5, maybe 6.

The Rockets team who were down 15 points against a Pelicans D-league team and needed an epic 4 minute run and some ref help to win last Saturday? While letting, Rivers post a double double, and 2 other DLeague Pelican players drop 20 on them? Then Portland in 6.

(NB4 "blah blah, back to back, long flight from Minny the night before..." )

1. Beverley has done a great job on Lillard. How well can he play with his knee? Who knows. He's seemed to do alright in the 2 games he's been back.

2. LMA is great and will be tough for Houston to guard. Dwight has defended him well when they've played but he still scores. Dwight would play him tight with a hand in his face or nearly block it, and Aldridge still gets his jumper to fall. When he's on, he doesn't miss.

3. Yes, both Dwight and Harden play well against the Blazers.

4. Lin's defense isn't that bad like some people make it out to be. He's average.

5. No. This Rockets team has shown a lot of grit in pulling out close games. In fact, the most recent game against the Blazers the Rockets had their back up against the wall and it was looking like the Blazers were going to win... but the Rockets found a way to force overtime and win it. I'm not concerned about their heart at all.

The only knock on the Rockets in that department is they sometimes seem to force shots and play out of control when they feel their lead slipping on the road. They have to learn to settle down. That's inexperience and youth.

6. No. I'd say both teams are hungry.

7. I say the Rockets objectively. They have more ways to win and don't rely as much on jump shooting. Rockets also play better defense. There is a myth that the Rockets are a bad defensive team, but that's not true. They are top 10 if you check the numbers. They give up a lot of points because they play at a high pace.

Especially in crunch time, they really have the ability to clamp down and get stops.

I see the games being close, but I see the Rockets winning the series.

Rockets in 5 or 6.

Harden is going to go bananas.

People saying D12 has heart are ruh-tarded. On top of that, he is a liability in the last two minutes of a close game.

Still, Houston is going to get it done.

Fun series.

1. Patrick Beverly. Next question.
2. LMA is a beast and will get his, but Houston has a decent defense against him with Howard and Jones. Somewhat of a mismatch and should cause some fits but not a catastrophic blow.
3. Yes. Next question.
4. While Lin is a liability at times defensively, he does not play all game. I expect a lot of Beverly if he stays healthy. Lin cannot lose the entire series on his own.
5. No. Next dumb rhetorical question.
6. They are the underdog but idk about hungier.
7. Houston in 6.

1. Lillard hasn't been forcing his shots lately. He should have a good series. Like many shooters, you don't really stop them, you just hope for an off night.

2.Houston has NOBODY who can guard LMA. LMA is probably the only guy in this series that will probably get whatever shot he wants.

3. Dwight will likely "have his way" but Robin will tire him down. We have no one else to stick on him though. TRob does a good job annoying the more athletic bigs. But he also lacks the size. Harden, won't earn his, but he'll likely get it The key guy for the Rockets is whoever Lillard gets stuck on defensively.

4. I read Lin threads and all of them talk about how much Lin blows but now they're all quick to his defense

5. I don't question hearts of professional athletes. I think this an overblown theory. Yeah players give up sometimes when they know they're outmatched. I think this will be more of a "Does Dwight get frustrated early in games and then costs his team ultimately down the road" type of thing.

6. We haven't won a playoff game since '00 I think. The fanbase is probably hungrier, but none of the players playing today in this series were in the league then. Both teams want to win.

7. I think this goes to 6 games no matter what. Those last two games will make for some good basketball. Oh, and Blazers win.
