It's a gray area for sure.
I personally don't really have a problem with it, but the only issue is that it opens the thread up to more gray area.
There will never be a resolution to this IMO, as long as I don't get spoiled it shouldn't really matter.

bbap is on Hugo's reader list, btw.
That's why the MIddle Ground thread exists. From the MG thread:

I don;t know but if Cersei is queen regent till Tommen can take the throne, what would that make Loras if he's married to Cersei?

I don't think that makes him anything.
It certainly doesn't make him King.

i usually ignore them so no i hadnt. Im not worried about it. If i get banned for the post "yes i've read the books" then so be it. I'm above something that petty though.

Probably follows rules similar to the British - as Cersei is not technically monarch, he wouldn't even be a Prince Consort - he would be made a Lord, or perhaps even styled a Prince - but nothing more. Zero authority as the stepfather of a monarch.
(ETA: And I'm not sure that marriage even goes through now - Jamie hinted as much, with this change in circumstances - that is another thing in the "motive" column for Cersei to have participated in the regicide.)
Effectively the Hand and Queen Regent would share responsibilities - and technically the Queen Regent should be able to fire the hand, she would retain ultimate authority.

I wasn't saying you should be, it was more of an FYI

I think we are getting ahead of ourselves. Tyrell did marry Joffrey so she is queen when the king dies....isn't she?

Nope. It wasn't even consummated. Plus the fact that she has zero royal blood.
If it was consummated she might have a small claim, but that is a mute point.
Tommen is the king.

If she was knocked up on the wedding night then it seems like that would kill Tommen's claim and Maergery would be Queen Regent. The more you look at it the more the motive evidence points away from House Tyrell, at least acting alone.

The only reason I think Tyrell is because of the Fool and his necklace.
I don't think Tywin or Cersei would have gone out of their way to involve someone like the fool, they would have no need for that.
And he(The Fool) was definitely involved IMO.

Yeah - if the Tyrells are involved, it is "good of the realm" (i.e. Varys) type stuff, not self-serving - they almost serve to lose the most with Joffrey's death on his wedding day to Marjorey.

He has to be. Why else would he grab Sansa right in middle of Joffrey dying?

Yeah - let's take the necklace off the table (may be involved, maybe not) - so, perhaps active involvement is not definite (at this point) - he definitely picked up enough from just being around court to figure out:
A. $hit was about to go down, and
B. Sansa would get caught up in it if she did not amscray at the earliest possible opportunity.
So, I would say, he's probably involved (and if it is the necklace, he's heavily, heavily involved) - and certainly knew about it. He wasn't randomly making his big, big move on Sansa right at that moment.

I have to disagree. I think too much is being made of it. I don't think there was a poisonous jewel on the necklace, and I think the fool just grabbed Sansa to be helpful.

My initial thoughts were that Sansa did it, the fool saw her do it, and he's trying to help her escape before she gets caught. Sansa has motive and opportunity, she just lacks the means (that we know of). Explaining how Sansa had poison on her might be easier than explaining a complicated multi-family plot, but the episode is called The Lion and the Rose, not Lupine Vengence, and they've made such a big deal about the necklace.

There is no way in hell this leaked out to the Fool IMO. Just being around the court wouldn't have given him any knowledge. If it is Cersei and/or Tywin, they would have acted alone or with only the most very trusted in their employ.
This was played extremely close to the vest. The Fool had to be in on it, he was RIGHT there as Joffrey started barely choking.
