Obviously Davis is #1
Brian Roberts #18
No Austin Rivers

There is talk of Andrew Wiggins being the closest thing to LeBron James to enter the draft since 2003. But it is Davis, who is just 21, who has a chance to be the next "best player in the world" after LeBron and Durant release their hold on the league.
Brian Roberts #18
No Austin Rivers

Why does Roberts keep making these lists?

quote:David Thorpe, who does most of these lists for ESPN, coached him at some camps years ago. Because of that, he's had a soft spot for Roberts since we picked him up.
Why does Roberts keep making these lists?
I remember last year him talking about how brilliant Roberts was, running the pick and roll and it blew my mind.

I really like Roberts and think he could be a great back up going forward. He's having to play a bigger role than he should and he has held up alright. With Holiday back next season, I'd like to see Roberts as the primary PG back up. Rivers can shift to SG as the primary back up there. Then we have Jackson as the 5th guard/heat check player. We just need to make a decision on who to keep out of Gordon/Evans/Morrow as the SG starter.
I actually like the idea of dumping Gordon, letting Evans hold down the SF position and Morrow as the starting SG. Morrow plays really well off of Evans and solves a couple of issues. We'd really only have to figure out the Center position. Plus maybe find a back-up SF, but I like to give Miller more of a look there. We'd end up with..
Holiday/Roberts/Jackson
Morrow/Rivers
Evans/Miller
Davis/Anderson/Babbit
FA or trade/Withey/Ajinca
I feel pretty decent about that core and it'll make a good run at the 8th spot.

i sat low for the Suns game and dudes...Plumlee is HUGE dudes a monster definitely will be a good NBA player
also just curious does anyone think if say we would have drafted Lamb and the Thunder drafted Rivers that Lamb would still be better than Rivers?
