because he's strong and accidentally hits home runs sometimes on his unending quest for 300 strikeouts in a season.

Is it going to be normal to not start Fowler vs LHP? I saw he didn't start vs Skaggs and he isn't today

i know I've been thinking about that. I made this a couple of months ago when he was still the can't-miss prospect, at least to my knowledge.

Fowler has a stomach bug he's been fighting. That's why.

ETA: He hasn't played since the opening Yankees series IIRC.

He's a switch hitter so no. He's had some stomach virus and was in the hospital.

I really hope my CCISD brethren can fix his issues and stay in the rotation long term.

He's one of those guys who just always throws a shite ton of pitches. Even when he has his best stuff. Hopefully it's just a youth thing and gets better as he matures. It puts a lot of stress on the bullpen though

I still think they take him. He still has off the charts potential. Also I don't want to wait for a high schooler, I've been patient enough already damnit

Karter, focused on how he'll strikeout next inning, opts not to field the 3rd out of the inning.
