Found your department issued handcuffs and hooked them to your fridge and lost the keys.

I'll tell you what I wouldn't do. Take a pic of it and post it to TD. Don't those things have universal keys anyway? They aren't exactly little bank vaults.

Most fridge door handles like that are attached via inset allen head screws on the inside of the handle (facing each other). You should easily be able to remove the door handles. You can also use this knowledge to REALLY mess with your family/kids.

Since my child is 2, I would just laugh. She's not old enough to know better than to put handcuffs on the refrigerator doors. I don't have handcuffs however because I'm not a cop.

I would make a shim and easily unlock them but if you aren't capable of googling how to do that you should grab some bolt cutters and cut it off.
