The guys were not my concern. She was however. If you don't understand this, then I'm sorry.

Then you probably overreacted to what they were doing. If it wasnt bad enough to even mention to them what they were doing was wrong

has "a little too friendly" been defined or explained yet?

no

he just refused to answer that point-blank question...but it seems like it was just normal flirting

The big brother duties thing and not letting your friends rail your little sister. However, this conversation should have already taken place.

You already have.

If she's a ho you can't stop her giving out that sweet stuff cause you can't always be around. They're probably already hitting it anyway.

I honestly can't figure it out. The OP will only answer certain questions, and ignores others which are directly about what the boys did.

I guess I'm just surprised at how many busy bodies there are here. I mean, I have read threads where people say MYOB when they see someone being assaulted on the side of the road. Or a cop being beaten. But they want you to run to your friend and report high school flirting? Doesn't make sense.

it may have

the brother is the only one who could do something. if the girl wants to be with one of those guys, the father confronting her will just make the kids want to rebel and want that more. the brother? he can ostracize the guy...or kick his arse...something that has real meaning

Probably later than most but what does that have to do with you assuming those you disagree with are misogynists?

How would that be different than assuming you're a rapist based on your position in this thread?

I blame this type of thing (reporting flirting to parents) for a lot of the problems of my generation. Kids don't make decisons or learn things on their own anymore. Parents, teachers, etc are way too involved... or too uninvolved, but that's typically reserved for the poors.

flirting is harmless. relationships, coupling, etc is mostly harmless. people who think it's terrible are people who did bad things to girls at that age

they only see the horrible/negative aspects

between not knowing what "a little too friendly" entails or the ages of the kids involved, this thread is pretty silly

If you saw your buddy's daughter being groped, touched, grabbed, etc., you have got to do something.
Not if she's allowing it to be done. I cannot imagine ANY man EVER telling his friend the the friend's daughter is loose.

It's so cute how y'all have mastered the debating skill of the obtuse triangle.
