Because if he expounds on that line of questioning it will become apparent that he overreacted to the situation, especially since, as Lester Earl pointed out, whatever was going on was not serious enough for him to accost the males that were engaging in this behavior with her. Well I will say this they were touching on her, in a way no father would allow and I will leave it that.
