Generally not a big deal.. They will monitor the growth via MRI before determining whether or not to remove. Has it had any effect on your hearing or balance systems, yet?

I have to have it removed. It is causing me to have dizzy spells and constant ringing in my ear. Gonna have it removed at Our Lady of the Lake in BR next month.

I hope the surgery goes smoothly. It is a fairly easy surgery (they can do with under local anesthesia with you awake or they will put you down if you'd prefer) and an acoustic neuroma rarely turns into anything malignant, so you don have anything to worry about! Glad it's the cause of your tinnitus and vertigo so you don't have to live with controlling that for the rest if your life!
