Buying weights is cheaper than gym memberships in the long run, just sayin'

what a dickhead. Gym etiquette isn't that hard, but it seems like guys like this dude go out of their way to piss people off.

But all you really have to do in that situation is grab the weights and ask to work in with him.

this guy takes the entire rack of weights and gets on his phone to troll the skinny guys at the gym. Classic.

Why should I care what he does with women's weights at a gym?

Work out rooms are cheaper.

Had a similar situation couple years back at Bally's when some douche took about 18 45s (basically all of them from the bench press area) for hack squats by glass front. Between bullshitting around with buddies and his girlfriend the douche bag was taking forever. Finally, I got fed up and told him to hurry the frick up cause other people need the weights and his was too busy fricking around. He was shocked someone called him out.

Had a guy hogging a bench one time. He would do a set, then sit there for about five minutes before he did another.

Once he got up to fill his water bottle, I took over the bench. He came back and said, "hey I was still using that!" I just looked at him and said, "you got up", and then I continued to workout.

Frick those punks that take their dear sweet time with equipment. Do your 3-6 sets, and get the F out of the way!

Been there. I walked up to his pile and said "bro, seriously?. I'm going to take these 25's (or whatever they were) get my set and bring them back. thanks."

True story (no hardo)

I workout at about 4:30 AM on weekdays and off time on weekends just so I can avoid crap like what is seen in this picture.

They don't call them dumbbells for nothing. This looks like the gym I frequent. Douchey (i learned this term and its meaning here) looking affliction/flatbill dudes staring at themselves in the mirror while playing with dumbbells or doing bicep curls with 135 lbs on the Smith machine.

I wouldn't have noticed him except when I walked past him toward the water fountain, because I would have been either at the bench or the squat rack doing compound exercises such as squats, bench, row, overhead press, and dead-lift.

IMO practical strength>>>aesthetics -- but to each his own.

OTOH, dumbshits that don't put their weights back on the rack when they're done...
