I hate when people say this. You always have and will have bad and good people. mostly bad.

I see stuff on a daily basis in ER that would make most people sick for the rest of their lives and I just work around it with no worries. This has crushed me. My wife called this evening to tell me good night and I could not even talk to her before just starting to cry like a baby. Wife is like, what is wrong, told her I would email what happened. She emailed back, I cannot call you, all we going to do is cry on the phone. frick, I cannot believe this shite

Damn. Just curious, but at least they apparently found a loving home for you.

We live in a sad world.

Though, my grandmother was left as a baby on someone's doorstep in a basket.

This is different. A five year old and her mother have a bond, or should have one.

Wow what a terrible thing. I just think of my daughter at 5 and that just breaks my heart. Such a great age for kids too.

The problem is that it is mostly bad, and when you hear about the good everyone is surprised. Doing the right thing isn't common nowadays

I chose to believe the good far outweigh the bad.

Well a blonde white girl will be adopted by a good family very quickly, she is better off.

Yeah, have to say I sighed in relief when I heard of what the kid looked like. Blue eyed blonde headed children don't stay on the market for long.

Well I had/have a mother

I guess it isn't quite the same in the respect

But it was still shitty. My brother was 7, I was 2, we went somewhere on Mother's Day, dad disappeared and left us

30 years later never a phone call, a birthday card, or anything.

I don't see how he could leave my brother. They were inseparable. He was my brothers little league baseball and soccer coach, and they traveled the country as my brother was a really talented BMX racer

Then, vanished.

Yes, if she was older, and non white, she would be screwed...

And I will not hijack or troll this thread, but there are no bad or good people. everyone is good and bad. Ive done some terrible things, but Ive also done some decent things too.

Damn. I think I would have to follow up with the PD just to see if they found the parent. I would probably want to buy the lite girl and stuffed animal or something and see her smile before I could just move on and forget about it.
