That was one of my first too.

No idea. When the porn channel was scrambled, I could turn the dial on my B&W TV to channel 3 instead of 4, turn the box to one channel up from Spice, and I could somehow get a pretty unscrambled picture of what was showing on Spice. I just had to tweak the little knob on the dial a bit, almost like focusing a lens. I was 13 and basically had the Spice channel in my bedroom. Life was good.

Don't remember how I discovered that little trick, nor do I have any idea how it worked. It was like magic.
