Anyone ever stayed in these townhomes or owned one of them? Would they be worth it to own and what is the going rate when one becomes available?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Privately owned. I've never seen one for sale since they were built.

I have stayed in one several times that is currently for sale. I believe they are asking 350k for the particular one I stayed in.

Where is this?
In Venice, LA. They appear to be pretty cool places. Step out of your townhome and into your boat in the marina.

You can have this in a Venetian Isles condo for about $100k, you just won't have quite the fishing Venice does.

Are you asking about the ones to the right when looking at the double launch? I was thinking about the ones on the penninsula to the right of the fish cleaning station.

I get jealous as hell when we pull back in after a long day (or overnighter) in the gulf. I always think about how damn nice it would be to roll up into the A/C in those places, take a shower, eat a bite, and take a nap before having to get back on the road. I've had some close calls at the wheel driving back to BR.

Yep...it would be nice to be able to fish offshore one day and inshore the next and have a good place to stay and keep your gear as well.

Not the same Townhomes, but it nice looking place.
Pretty cool looking place. I wonder if they are limited by covenant to only a 30' boat?

I know they have other slips that can accommodate for larger boats.

They have spots for all different size boats. We keep a 36' and a 22' in there. They have sportfishers in there

I stay at my buddys camp in venice and its in the marsh, about 6 miles from cypress cove. It's incredible out there, sure you have to haul all your crap out there, but its worth it. Incredible views and privacy.

To think you could have bought one new pre Katrina for 169K. THey are nice but not worth 350K, I'll take my place any day .5 miles away and 1/4 the price, 5 times bigger.

You also don't own the land for that price. You get a 50 year lease for I think 3600 a year. I've been looking to build a camp and this was one of the places I considered.

It was nice having a camp at the mouth of South Pass at Port Eades to do just this. 5 minute boat ride to the gulf...20 minutes to catching Tuna on good days
