So, tell me this: How many rookie WRs make a big impact?

Even if we pick one in the late first round, will they make a difference?

The only WRs who really shine the first year are guys like Julio Jones or AJ Green.

WR is one of the hardest positions to really stand out in the first year. RB is one of the easiest.

So, we are putting all of our eggs in draft basket hoping to find a WR in the late first round that will make a big impact in their rookie year?

Ok.

And, I'm the imbecile?

I can give you five from last year alone and two who weren't even 1st rounders.

nuke, patterson, and austin made differences on their teams

1046 yards and 8 TDs says differently: keenan allen

for 1st year players, not as of late. overall very because you either have good vision or you don't

There isn't much else we can do.. The FA market is pretty bare at this point, and to be fair, Jimmy really is pretty much a WR so we have options in the passing game that can take the pressure off of any rookies that we have to play.. Anyone we get, whether in FA or the draft, will be the 4th or 5th option in the passing game most of the time anyways behind Jimmy, Colston, Stills and PT/KR/MI

70 catches, 1,038 yards, 8 TDs as a rookie.

From Hofstra.

What is the option?

Was there a signing out there that you thought made sense for the money it took? Or, are you just bitching?
